This is an older shot with a Panasonic FZ30 P&S. One of my all time favs of PC.
She was laying on a towel under a table lamp.
The view under the lampshade is reflected in her eyes

ISO 80(Panasonics are noisey), only 1/4 sec, f/3.6 at 31mm
Thanks for letting me share a pic of my live in companion :D

Wow this is a beauty Dave. I feel like I could reach out and touch this gorgeous cat. The eyes are over the top., as well as the low angle and pose. thanks for sharing Dave.

This image really tells the story of why we cat-lovers are so "in love with" our furry friends. That face, those eyes, and those adorable little paws curled up say it all. Dave, she is a beauty, and you captured her heart and soul beautifully in this image.

This is certainly a gorgeous image.......looks like a studio shot. Now you need to get another cat....a male....and call him "Mac".......trust me....you'll never have another dull moment.

Man, PC looks like he's ready for the big screen, the expression in the eyes is priceless, you must be a very proud parent!

Dave, this really is a lovely portrait of the cat - so detailed and sharp, and I can see why it's a fave.

Could I ask - was there any editing/cloning done at the top left? I can't make out if it's a very faint background or some editing leftovers. My opinion - if you can get that top left totally dark, it's would be an even more awesome image. Either way, I love it.
