Good composition with the attention of all 3 here Ken in lush conditions.

Very true Ken, a close bond seems to occur between two and the third one always seem to trail the pair. We saw this in the Mara with the bros trio.

I love the juxtaposition here Ken of the cats, the green grass they are sitting in and balancing the image with the bush on the right. Well thought out composition of a beautiful image.

Great moment captured, it looks to me they are looking to your right slightly, was there something up there that was gathering their attention?

thanks for the info yet again Ken :)

was this a large crop or taken in harsh light of day? the details seem a bit lackluster compared to your other work

also might benefit from slight CCW rotation as they all seem to be leaning to the RHS

    Vivaldo, Marc and Ro bert,

    Thanks for your comments

    Chad ,

As I recall they were not looking at anything in particular, certainly not prey

    Morkel,

I really do not understand your comments, most animals do not sit bolt upright nor do these seem to be leaning over to one side. the crop represents around 35% of the original frame.

Very nice image. Would prefer to see some more room on the sides. IQ is not great - maybe crop a bit less.

    Ofer,

Looking at it again I think you are correct the IQ is not really up to it, and is not really resolved by a smaller crop.

Oh well you cannot win them all

Great to see the three TT boys, Ken.

Would agree that IQ could be better.

I agree Ken - animals aren't sitting dead straight every time, but here it just seems like all 3 are leaning to the RHS, which makes it seem it was more to do with your leveling (or the game drive vehicle's for that matter) than with all 3 cheetahs? The lean is slight...but it's there :w.

Of course, you have the right to leave it as it is. My suggestion was more about presentation than it was about asking "was the camera 100% level". It would look better as presented if rotated a little, at least in my humble opinion.

Just calling it as I see it - my opinion differs from many others here on a lot of issues - and that is healthy for a forum methinks

Nice image of these three Ken. Good to have all of the cats looking towards you. Colors look good as well as exposure. IQ wise, I wonder if you ran any nr on the image as this might explain the areas that appear smoothed out compared to the areas that have decent detail? I would mot rotate this image if it were mine as the cheetahs lokk to be sitting naturally to me as well as the grasses and other foiliage. Well done.

    None taken, Ken :)

everyone has their peeve...for some it is "tyre tracks", for some it is halos, for some it is oversharpening, and for some it is levelling. If that is your irk you will notice it in the slightest degree...

    cheers

Like the position of the cheetahs and the fact they are all sharp. Nice portrait!
