Had the honor to shoot along side with Doug Brown at the Albuquerque Zoo last December. Thanks again Doug.
I believe this is a Female Wood Duck. Enjoy!

What an awesome image! Very crisp for a flight shot. You had a good mentor.

Nice flight image Troy. Exposure looks good with a nice bg. Sharpness looks ok but I think it could take just a bit more. Well done.

    Very nice!
I'll think the sharpness is perfect, too much and you loose the 3D-feel.

    Troy:

I like the angle in frame, subtle transillumination, sharpness seems good to me.
Might consider a sliver more room on the right. I might consider slightly lowering the luminosity of the BG right above the birds right shoulder.

    Cheers

Great eye contact and nice underwing detail Troy. I agree with the suggestion to sharpen the head a little more. I also like Randy's idea about decreasing brightness in the ULC.

Image has a lot of depth Troy, nice angle of approach, flared wings and tail.

    Troy:

When I had a chance to look at the image at home on the better monitor, do agree with a bit more sharpening on the head.

    Cheers

I love the flight angle, light, tailfeather and underwing detail, and wing and feet position of this hen.

    Nicely done.
