    Default Barn Window

This photo of the old barn window looked like a good candidate for scratch art. I desaturated the image, and added two of my textures and a vignette. I then used poster edges and added a little noise to achieve the scratch art look. Comments and suggestions would be most appreciated.

Christopher, I like the look of this. I might tone down the vignette a little if it were mine but I love the dark mood.

Christopher, I think the weathered wood makes a good subject for scratch art. Good job of thinking through the steps needed to get the look. Nice tonal range and detail.

Wonderful comp and texture treatment, Christopher. For me, the coal black panes really set this off!

Really nice use of processing to bring out the dark mood of this image, Christopher. Very stark. There's some story going on there. For some reason, the image reminded me of scenes form the movie "To Kill a Mocking Bird" with Gergory Peck. Well done!

    Christopher,

Oooo, mysterious and scary. I like the image as presented... excellent work with your textures to create a scratch art look. I can almost feel that a person is lurking in the shadows behind that window looking out.
