    Default Mallard hen wing flap

Another from my local lake, last week. Head is about parallel, but I know a little turn would have helped, as would a lower shooting angle. C&C appreciated.

    Bill:

Good self critique. This pose does give us a peak at the speculum, which is good.
Nice sense of action from wing position and drops.

    Sharp and well exposed.

    Cheers

I too agree with your self critique, and I would also have liked a more open near wing - even if sacrificing some more of the speculum.

Appealing colours, sharp, and good water drop action.

Agree with your critique but have to say this a very nice image and it is the lighting that helps make this a little bit special.

Agree with Jonathan light and exposure makes for a good image. Nice detail especialy the water droplets. Crits have been covered.
