Virtually everything looks right on the money-exposure, details in blacks and whites, BG, HA, pose and comp, perch. It looks like there are two catchlights, though I may be mistaken. Outstanding image in any case. Can't wait to see one of these in action, as you noted. Cheers.

Very well done! Love the simple combination of colors.

I did not notice the 2 catchlights until Gary pointed it out, but I think I would probably remove one.

    thanks

Ken, my favourate subject. Very well exposed, and a typical fishing pose, waiting to dive off for his next meal. Nice and sharp too.

The image gives the impression that the bird is looking away slightly. A HA with a couple of degrees towards you might have made this otherwise great image perfect. You could have moved to the right a little to get the same result.

I like the simple design of the image, and the techs are all good. I'm with Clemens about body/head, but tough to move from a stationary vehicle.

Fantastic image. Only thing which is a bit unfortunate - but easily fixed - are the two catchlights. Congrats! JR

It appears that my thank you to all response has not appeared, so here it is again.

Thanks a lot, I am happy to get one catchlight let alone two
