Taken on Assategue Island with the digital Rebel and the Sigma 300-800mm lens.........will post specifics later.........Question for the HAP... how do you judge how many degreees the head is off/facing away?
Comments welcomed and appreciated,
Roman
the head/nape detail is beautifully presented IMO.
On head turn I think as long as it is toward viewer and off a plane parallel to the sensor is the criteria given.
Gorgeous roman just beautiful.
Dave is right on with the HAP tip. Because many birds have a wedge shaped head even parallel isnt ideal and the eye will still be aimed away when square to the lens with many birds. A few degrees in helps make the image more successful.
Very nice exposure control, details and water colors. A bit better head angle would have been nice and it looks as if it would benefit from a bit CW rotation.
