Default Cheetah cub and mum, cleaning each other.

Here is one of the six Cheetah cubs with mum having a bit of a "wash up" together. They had recently eaten and mum at least was hoping to settle down for an after dinner rest.

Some of the other cubs were still full of energy running around, chasing each other.

I got a picture of all six cubs in a line, waiting for mum to "finish preparing the breakfast". That picture can be seen HERE for those interested.

I suspect this image will be added to the group of images that I use as my website banner as the crop lends itself to such.

    C&C welcome.

    Cheers

You are getting soft here Austin, posting these 'interactive' images.

The crop works well, but personally would like to move it all over to the left a bit more? Is this a crop widthwise?

    A nice intimate capture.

    Hi Steve,

Thanks for your feedback. Just before posting I decided to crop a little wider at the left. Maybe I should have left it as original ! Let's see if anyone else has similar thoughts.

    Hope you are enjoying yourself.

I am sitting on a plane bound for Munich as I type. The plane is filling up with skiers and my skis are at home. Not fair... Enjoy.

    Cheers

Hi Austin, looking at it again and as I said, perhaps moving the 'whole' crop say a 1/3 to the left????

Also, do you think just dropping the Red & Yellow channels in Sat might help too, selective mask on the Cheetahs?

BTW big storm Thursday, brought in fresh powder, sun & blue skies at present, looks good for the next few weeks If you can make it over here you can have out other condo apartment.

    Austin,

Since both cats are looking right I am OK with more on right than left. I like the tongues out and the adult cat's tail sticking up.

    Austin,

A nice "moment" crop is OK for me "licky" tongues are always good.

Interesting contrast in colour between mum and cub, although I do not go with the "looks like a Honey Badger" school.

The upright tail adds a little something extra.
