    Default Clan challenge.(somewhat graphic)

This alpha female was most interested in a rival incoming clan that was ready to approach and challenge them over her clan's rights to their hard earned Zebra kill.

    D3s 500VR 1/500s ISO800@f.4. Masai Mara, Kenya Oct 2010. 30% crop.

    C & C most welcome

    Cheers
    Marc

love the pose and blood-drenched coat here Marc.
seems just a hint of magenta present in the blood - easy to tone down (saturation, choose magenta channel, take it down by about 20 points)

have you considered a slighly tighter crop from the bottom to eliminate the "cut-off" legs?

Hi Marc, would have liked to have seen this in full rather than 'truncated', perhaps an even tighter POV might be better? Would agree with Morkel about the cast and perhaps just ease off a fraction on the sharpening.

    Certainly a graphic image.

    Graphic and detailed Marc,

Sharpness looks OK to me but I agree with a tighter crop taking some off the bottom.

    Cheers

    Thanks Morkel

This was my mistake, not realising before hitting the sack last might I submitted the 4 X 6 format instead of the 4 X 5 which is here, with the magenta taken down a tad.

Very nice pose and attentive look here Marc. Would go with a tighter crop. Very fine image.

    Marc,

I like the repost crop and color cast correction. The soft BG really accentuates the red blood coating.

    What messy eaters these are

But a nice shiny nose and glossy coat indicates haealth.

Preer the repost, but I am still seeing a slight magenta cast.

Hi Marc, the repost is very nice indeed, and well done with taking advantage of her keen interest in the rival, you captured a nice intense look here. Nice contrast between subject and BG in this image
