I like this one a lot. The technical parts are vg, but I like the pose and how it gives the smooth, quietness of a heron landing.

Lovely shot, Sid. Allan's comment hit it - looks like he's poised for a graceful touchdown. I really like the position in the frame, and the layered bg. Well done.

Beautiful light, pose and colours. Techs look good too. Won't mind seeing the bird a bit smaller in the frame.

Landing pose is very neat, and of course the techs are spot on. Only thing that could have made this better would have been the near wing's primaries curled up instead, but certainly not an image breaker.

Beautiful shot Sid. I agree with Ofer, maybe a bit more canvas, but that is a minor suggestion. Overall lovely.

Wonderful image Sid, colors look good and a nice pose as he is about to land . Agree with the others that this would also work with more space around the heron

Lovely soft light, and I like the landing pose. I would like to see this in landscape format.

I love these "suspended animation" action shots. Perfect pose, perfect lighting - not much wrong for me - well done.

Excellent Sid, I love everything about it. A tiny bit tight but I do wish it were mine.
