The dunnock is a quite a common but shy bird in UK, most gardens have them, they are often incorrectly referred to as hedge sparrows. At last some of the birds are coming a little closer to my set up with water, these pebbles and logs are at the waters' edge hopefully I will get some reflections soon.

    All C & C welcome.

Nice close up Jonathan, and I would have maybe traded some more aperture than ss. Being static, a slower ss would have been possible. I do like the angled pose, and colourful BG.

Thanks Stuart, I agree it is just a matter of retaining presence of mind to alter the settings, one minute I am capturing a fast moving jobby on a perch and then suddenly this chap appeared. His stance is misleading - he looks still but he was constantly moving left right up and down.

I like the subject, the rock it is perched on, and the BG. Not crazy about the other OOF rocks and branch though, and especially the dark one running up next to the leg.
