And your waiting till now to share . This is simply outstanding Ken. Techs are handled great. Love the shooting angle. Colors and detail look good as well. You knocked this one out of the park . Very well done.

fantastic POV, light and image quality here Ken

for my tastes I would probably want to crop just a tad off the LHS to make it seem more "purposefully" cut off

Love the typical Leopard hunched pose here Ken, your low perspective and framing really enhances, agree on just a tad cropped on LHS.
    Top shelf stuff!

I feel this is one of your best submissions here Ken and worthy of a tweak, if you don't mind.
Gave it a run through with a luminosity mask @ 70%, sharpening the head a tad and slight LHS crop.
Let me know what you think?

Thanks everybody for your kind comments, whilst I understand the idea about cropping, I am quite happy with it as presented.

    Marc,

I have tried this method but to my eyes it takes the colours out of their correct range, on this one the yellow is in my opinion too strong.

    Ken,

I would suggest adding more snap to the blacks as that won't affect the color. Two ways:

    1) Selective Color and add blask to black and neutral channels.
    2) Convert to LAB mode and using a curves on the lightness channel, pull down in the 1/4 tone portion of the curves. I tried this one and really liked the results.

I do agree this is a fine image you posted with the low POV and in-your-face look. I feel like I am right there.

    Sid,

Thanks for this, memory plays tricks, but I do think the OP is nearer in colour to what I saw,

Hi Ken, fantastic close-up, I also like the opening image, colours are better. Great low angle, agree with trying a closer crop, it would work nicely as well TFS
