    This started off as a rather mundane shot of an egret but morphed into whatever it is after several layers of PB/Fractal Explorer Orbit Traps, PB/Oil and some playing around with selective colors.

    Beautiful image, Maureen! I love the colors and effect. The rose-like edging is too cool. I never would have believed it started out as an egret.

    Maureen, This is very cool. The roses around the edges is a great look. I can hardly believe this was an egret! The black BG is nice and I like that there is some wiggle room between the image and the BG.

    Beautiful composition, Maureen. It is amazing how the egret has morphed into this beautiful ornament like pattern. The colors are excellent. Nicely done.

    Maureen, that is one flamboyant egret! Great job of creating a truly unique image. I love the colors and the way the center element pulls the viewer into it. Well done!
