    Default Tiger in Environment

Experimenting with environment shots. This was pretty much against light, had difficulty in shading my lens.

    Canon EOS 1D Mark II, EF 70-200 f2.8 L IS USM , Canon EF 1.4 x. Shot at 145 mm, ISO 250, f4.5, 1/500, -1/3 EV. Well I don't know why I used only f4.5. :o

I am not too happy with the result. Comments invited as to what could have been done.

I think the image has a chance to be better, the problem for me with this version is that the Tiger is looking out of the frame and what is behind is isnt very important.

I think if you pointed the camera to the left to place the Tiger looking into the frame them rotate the camera vertical, it would be a fine image.
You could crop the image the way it is but it would limit the uses.

With the placement of the tiger and the fact that it' s looking out of the frame and it's low in the frame to begin with you seem to loose interest in the rest of the frame. Placing the tiger in say the lower right PP with a vertical camera format would probably work well.

Agree with above comments regarding comp. I guess getting off the Elephant or out of vehicle would be a problem here:D.
