    Default One order of clay to go please...

    Watching the parrots come in to feed at their clay licks is always an awesome experience. During my Ecuador workshop we saw hundreds of these colourful birds squawking and chasing each other around...each jockeying for position to eat the precious clay. Some of the smart ones just break some clay off and take it to a more peaceful place to dine :)

    Interesting natural history shot, under difficult lighting conditions.
    I might consider trying to tone down the BG just a bit to help the bird pop/separate from the similar colors.

    I've heard about Parrots eating clay, but I've never seen a good image of the behavior. I agree with the suggestion by Randy above. Thanks for the advice yesterday!
