    Default Soft Water Blur

    Attached Images Attached Images

I created this image from a jetty rock looking down on the ocean at Sanibel. I noticed the sun casting it's lovely light onto the water and decided to create some blurs. This was one of my favorites. I used Topaz Adjust to punch up the colors.

ISO 100, f/29, 1/5 sec., 100-400mm lens, hand-held, full frame, I considered a crop from the top to eliminate the corner but after looking at it for awhile I decided I liked the corner. I used the gentle flow of the water to create the blur.

    Denise,

Beautiful blur. I love the color of the sun's highlights on the aqua water. Nicely done.

I see why the upper left corner initially bothered you as it kind of draws the eye due to its brightness. If it were mine I would consider cropping from the top.

Denise, this is really lovely. The colors look metallic to me, like copper foil that has some patina. Nice blur, of course, and I like the action of the water. Nice work!

This is beautiful and peaceful. Wonderful colors! I particularly like the upper corner. It complements the other brighter areas of the image.

Denise, this is outstanding! love the golden hue melting with that of the blue water. The slight wave makes this a masterpiece. It was great shooting with you at IPT.

Lovely blur, denise. The gold/copper to almost turquoise blend is just beautiful. Will definitely try some water blurs when the ice around here softens up a bit.
