These guys are way too cool. Great sighting. Exposure, sharpness and color look good. Well done.

Thanks to everbody, I admit that head lacks sufficient detail, but I can offer difficult conditions as an excuse and the fact that they move pretty fast., plus the "pesky" grass

    Marc,
I jumped off the vehicle before we stopped, my unkind companions (wife and our pet Australian lady) said they had never seen me move so fast beore, probably true

I still think I would have been ahead of you (had I been there),....... being a few years younger

better pangolin shot than most people have in their files Ken! now how about next time you lie on your stomach and get that winning perspective?

Tried that but did not work very well

Unfortunately they move to fast or keeps their head down and of course you have no idea which direction it will go in after unrolling.

That is a cool looking critter Ken. I can only image how hard it was to get this if he was on the move.

Did you zoom in for a close-up of the pattern outer shell?

    Robert,

Thanks it is very frustating sighting such a rarity in reasonable coditions and not really being able to do it justice.

I have some closer shots of him rolled up I'll take a look
