    Default Nesting Anhinga

For this, I applied pixel bender/oil, then a texture I found online that I liked and a warming filter. Eye was masked to retain detail. The crop was a bit difficult because the anhinga has that huge long tail

    Comments appreciated!

Wow...nicely done, all the birds done in this style have an eerie Audubon look to them...

Maureen, this created a really nice, kind of abstract image. It does have an Audubon aura to it
Wish I had PB but I don't have CS5 so guess I'll have to wait. Nice job with this one!

Maureen, Very creative and the filtering is lovely. The BG adds so much to this. Nicely done.

Nicely done Maureen. I like the effect you got with pb/oil... after experimenting with the filter a bit I find pb/oil my favorite of the options. I love the curve of the birds neck as well as the overall color and textures.

Thank you for the nice comments

I'm definitely not a PB wizard, Indranil. Just spending lots of time playing around with it!

Richard - If you haven't already, there are a number of additional extensions you can download for PB. Lots of fun to explore the various effects. I think today's favorite is 'fractal explorer orbit traps'.

Hi Maureen, really nice PB look and the colors are super. I know what you mean about that tail, I have the same problem with magpies!

You are so right about the extra PB filters. I have a total of 48. You can find them HERE .

Cheryl, PB is available for CS4 if you have that. You can download it HERE . Look on the upper right part of the window under "Archived downloads".
