I am an amateur photographer based out of chennai, Tamilnadu (native from Nanded, Maharashtra), India. Since the time I got my DSLR Canon 400D some 4 years back, its been a terrific journey till now. The camera taught me to look at the same world, differently !! And, thats the best invention a man has made till this date ;)
I love every bit of it when I am in nature and behind the camera. I love everything from landscapes, waterfalls, wildlife to macros. I have recently bought over a canon 300mm F4 and got interested in birds more.
I have been following people like Clement, Ganesh, Sudhir, Kiran, Harshad from INW forums and facebook. I am sure, the kind of photographers BPN has, it would keep us inspiring to take/make better and better images !!

I also have a Canon 40D and it also changed the way I see the world. I know so many people who think I am silly for spending the kind of money that I do on camera equipment but they just don't realize how priceless it is once you have it.
Welcome to BPN. The way you feel about photography pretty much sums up the way I feel as well. Congratulations on your new 300F4 lens. I think you will be very happy with it. That was my first serious Canon lens, and it worked very well for me, also coupled with a 1.4 teleconverter which gave me 420mm.
