    Default Frozen Witch Hazel

    On a recent trip to Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA, I found all of the witch hazels in bloom and covered with tiny icicles. As seems to be the norm for me, I had to battle the wind and shot between gusts. I liked this shot.

    Love the soft light, colors and the sharp icicle details.

    I think cropping out the OOF area above the icicle would make the image stronger.

    Hey Mary, very cool image, only nit would be a little more DOF needed to bring the top part of the ice in focus.
