I quite like this intimate composition - great light and details. Do you have a little more space above the eye?

I only cropped from the right. I did want the eye near the top to get the line from eye, beak, foot.

Loved the comp. so well seen. These are hard. wonderfully sharp bill and foot. If mine, I'd sharpen the eye and face a bit. Higher ISO and smaller aperture would have been better. I think you must have needed the SS to freeze this.

Love these super tight images. Wonderful SH and fine detail. I too would like a smidge more room above. And I would not mind seeing the BLACKs and the NEUTRALs a bit darker. Love those toes.

Really like the tight crop and the detail in the bill and feet. Nice background color as well.

Why not? The shot works. The details are there. I'm loving the topography of your foot and bill. I'd perhaps like the bill darkened up a bit; it's not inviting my eye quite as much as the foot. Think about a little more room up top.

Someday I want to see one of these guys. I like the creative composition which created a frame within a frame. If I have to pick one thing, its probably just me but I would sharpen the eyes a little bit, everything else seem super sharp though.

Great closeup with nice exposure and excellent detail. I tend to agree with more space above the eye.

Great close up, and overall tack sharp. This is different, and it works for me.
