Taken out of my back door several weeks ago. Removed one sunflower seed. C&C welcome.

Bill, beautifully done. Terrific details in the reds. Blacks can go a little darker I think.

I love it. Cardinal in heaven. I would remove the tiny bit of seed husk from the base of the bill. And lighten up the area around and just in front of the eye.

Cardinals are like sunsets; common, but never tiresome. Good whole-bird shot. I don't like the feeling that I'm hovering over him.

Real nice Bill! Nice pose, exp, details on this, and right out of the camera too! Well done.

very nice, I'd like to see a bit more texture in the BG.

Thank you all for the kind and helpful comments.

Craig, I agree that as usual, lower might have been better. I was fairly low, but not lying in the snow.

Arash, I darkened the bg by 1% and boosted contrast a bit to try and bring out some texture but didn't want it to become muddy. I'll post a sequel that has more texture.

Artie, I'll give your suggestions a try. Thanks.
