    White pelican coming into shore... 8:15am... I was happy to get this as the light was nice, no other distractions in the frame and I would HOPE THE HAP IS HAPPY! :D I was as low to the ground as I could get and still get a clean shot. It's also probably one of the better images I've taken that shows off the "growth" on the upper part of the bill that apparently only the white pelican develops as mating/nesting season approaches.

    Steve - one of your best shots. I really like everything about this one. It could maybe stand for a bit more midtone sharpening but I'm not at my regular monitor so it's harder for me to tell. Here's a sharpened one but I might have overdone it some.
