Base image is an HDR. I used the darken/blur technique mentioned in a previous post then converted to black and white with light tint and added a golden brown texture and an edge effect.

    Judy,

Greetings. This has a strong 3D look to it... the HDR? Very cool. I like the dramatic feel and the tone and texture. The 3D impact is superb. Good show!

    Cheers,

    -Michael-

Thanks Michael! I guess the HDR process and added contrast did add to the 3D look.

Excellent work, Judy! The main subject has a lot of impact, and great details and tonal range. I love the gritty, aged look from the texture and sepia toning. Well done!

The B&W and sepia treatment really work well with this image and the whole feel. Like the trees and the edge effect is a nice touch - Well done Judy!

Hi Judy, nice work with the HDR and toning. They work well together here and convey a sense of age to the image. It took my eye a while to find the flag in the lower right, which helps to balance the composition and adds interest. Good work!

Judy, this is wonderful. I like the aged look and the edge effect. It makes me think of something out of an old very scary movie

Judy, It looks like an old post card and the toning is lovely. The vignette adds to the feel. Nicely done.

I'll have to agree with all above. Everything seems to be working well for this shot. Congrats

Excellent composition, Judy. You managed the strong light very well here with the conversion to b&w and using the tint. The worn-out effect also matches the impression of a old mausoleum in the backdrop of the cemetery. TFS.
