    Hi All
    Captured this image this morning whilst out for a walk. Weather - cold, windy and overcast.
    Hope the Head Angle Police appreciate this image ;)

    Canon 1D MK3 100-400 @ 400 f5.6 1/250 sec ISO640 Handheld.

    Pete .......... you might have over done it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One of the reason we want the head angle is to have the tip of the bill and the eyeball in the same plane so both will be in focus !!

    Would suggest to crop the perch a bit more and increase density on the chest area Very appealing image with a good head turn !!! Much appreciated !!!!

    I'm with Alfred on cropping some of the perch.....it's pretty large for such a colorful little bird. Perch size should be relative to the bird size....you don't want to "overpower" the bird with the perch. There is some noise in the BG that would be easily fixed by just selecting it and either blurring or running it through a noise reduction program such as Noise Ninja. I like the colors and pose of this one.
