Beautiful shot! The lighting and background look just excellent. I'd agree with Ofer - maybe a little more canvas at the bottom for the "virtual feet".

Another low angle stunner Kaustubh. Nice light and colors. Good sharpness as well.

Fantastic IQ, great low angle and killer the two tone BG. Your usual high standard Kaustubh TFS

Another stunner Kaus, and I really like the green sheen on the head. Fantstic BG too. Fine image.

Gorgeous shot, Kaustubh! BG is just beautiful and excellent detail and color on the bird. You handled the white patches well - I always have difficulty with the Shoveler drakes because of those white patches.

A minor nit: the distal half of the bill seems OOF. Could be because it is covered with water, which often gives the impression of softness. But I have a feeling that if you had stopped down a bit, it would have been as sharp as the rest of the bird. Also, I would clone out the white spot on the bill.

Sweet, sweet. A bit more room all around would work better for me KD.

Agree about the room. Besides that, really like the detail in the shoveler. Like the colors in the background as well.

Thx everyone. Yes, I agree it needs more room at the bottom. I had it but the image wasn't level...so lost it in rotation.
