No where near to Romans Image. But here is my attempt. From recent trip with James.
Two frames with focus point on individual birds. Stacked in photoshop.

Just in case anyone interested. Both subjects were in original frame. I used the focus stacking technique from macro to increase DOF
Hi Sid, what a fine piece of work. How many images did you stack? What was your range of f-stops? You stacked the spoonbill on the right only, correct? Did you take one shot with the focus point on the spoonbill to our left and the stackables with the focus on the spoonbill at right, using different f-stops? The result is very convincing, and actually more in line with what the human eye actually sees. P.S. Do you think you could recover some of the white on the left-hand spoonbill's neck?
Sweet work Sid! Man, you really produce some fine stuff!
Good work Sid. Before, during and after the shot. Nice colors and sharpness achieved. As mentioned just a little tweaking of the whites. Well done.

Sid we all learn from this image, Wow great info and it really works nicely and great IQ on both. Thanks for sharing this technique, I will definitely try it![]()

Sid, I like the perspective here, and both with great poses. Does this need a slight CCW rotation?
