Just back from two workshops in South Texas. On the morning I shot this we had an inch of snow and ice on everything. The coldest winter in 50 years. Despite the cold weather, the birds were plentiful. Here's an image of two male Cardinals on an ice covered perch. One only imagines what they are saying to each other!
    Happy Valentines to everyone.

Another gorgeous image from you Alan. Nice comp and poses. Techs spot on as usuall. They are probably discussing how to get unstuck from the ice. Well done.

Beautiful image. It's always motivating to see an amazing image of a more common species!

It's airtight, Alan, strong in every way. Did you shoot it vertical?

What a lovely image, love the composition and the placement of both birds. There eye contact is special. The lovely perch also adds to this image TFS
