    Default Hooptie Deaux Spoonie Time!

Down in very chilly Tampa and going out with James Shadle on the Hooptie Deaux for some Spoonbill action. This was from early this morning as the action is picking up. I have been coming to Florida on a regular basis for 16 years now.....first 14 years trying for Roseate spoonbills everywhere else in Florida.....it wasn't until I went out with James 2 years ago.....that I finally got the Spoonbill shot I always wanted. I've got plenty now.....but I never get tired of them! That is also why I take my clients out with him and I have a return visit on the boat with my clients in a few weeks. Action is really starting to pick up.....so if you want your shots.....no one better....period!

Hey Roman, I can see why you keep going back - sweet, sweet light here, and you have captured a good landing posture. I just love the colours of your spoonbill's, as ours are a drab white. Well placed in the frame too. Well captured.

Lovely landing pose Roman. Great warm tones on this bird, ditto Stu on our spoonbills colours, they are plain white Superb Image TFS

Nice stretched out pose with that low warm light. Sharp with a clean but recognizable background. I too have been waiting for years to have a chance at these guys. I'm jealous!

Great pose in some sweet light! A little loose on the framing though!
