Sweet light Hendri. Nice sighting and executed well. Exposure looks good as well as sharpness. Well done.

Impossible not to like the lighting and subject matter here. Beautiful.

I have a question which someone may be able to answer. I find that the hairier the animal, like this one or the bears and some other creatures, the less they seem to look pin sharp and I wonder if that is an illusion because of the hair detail? And if others notice this, is there a way to counter it without over sharpening the animal?

    Hendri,

Very nice with good light, I might try toning down the red a tad, and perhaps a tad more sharpening.

    Hilary,

Over here we do not get many long haired animals, would interested to try on a Brown Hyena, but sightings are extremely rare.

Thanks folks. I value your comments.

Good question Hilary but don't have an answer for you. What I did find its very easy to over sharpen.
