    NR on background, and some post-processing detail enhancement(burning, etc.) that doesn't seem quite right, and I was wondering if its just me. Comments and critique welcomed. regards~Bill

    Yeah, I kind of agree, the feathers look at bit like dried clay/chalk. Perhaps back off about 20-30%, otherwise nice capture.

    Hi Bill - feels just a little dark in some area's. Detail and colours look good though.
    I also might crop some from the LHS.

    colors and detail are gorgeous - especially that fine detail of the feather edges on the shoulder. Agree it feels just a little dark? curious what it would look like with the reflection cloned/burned out of the eye? beautiful photo!

    I like it...but I, too, would crop a bit of the shoulder off on the left side because it's the horizontal face/beak that really takes center stage here. I'd also look at brightening that eye - I think it could be even more powerful than it is here with a little more pop.
