    Speed : ISO 800
    Exp comp : -ve 1/3rd stop.

    Shot this CHE in the famous Jim Corbett National Park . Was enetering the iconic Dhikala grasslands , when i saw this proud raptor scouting the horizon for food.

    Fine shot. Angle a bit steep; were he looking at you the steepness would be somewhat mitigated.

    I like the light and detail on the head and eye. There is a sharpening halo around the bird.

    Beautiful bird. I too like the crest feathers. Nice comp and sharpness, as Stuart has mentioned I see the sharpening halo as well.

    Rakesh, excellent comp...loved the raised crest. Loved the light angle. I am not a big fan of steep angles...but I am not miding it here. What a sight. love their call.

    Browns look fine but the whites look a little under....If mine, I'd lighten the whites and the get the midtones up to improve the sky.
