    Default Northern Hawk Owl - Eye Level

    Another image of the BC hawk owl, was perched in a low tree (~8' tall) and made a pass in front of us. May tone down the urc.
    D300, 400 w/1.4tc, 1/1000, f4, iso640, man exp +2EV.

    Wow - nice catch. He looks like he was going reallly fast when you caught this. well done and I like the little bit of wing tip blur.

    Was this with a tripod or handheld ?? Sharp where it needs to be , the blur near the wingtip gives you that sense of motion . One heck of a shot !!

    Nice eye contact and wing position. Downward flight position and wing blur give a real sense of speed.

    Great inflight capture Todd, and I like the diving angle. Blending in the URC will work. Well captured.

    Really like the angle and I agree with toning down of the URC. Pose and eye level......make this work for me!
