    Default Monitor Calibration

    Huey Pantone
    Spyder
    XRite
    Gretag

What's the vote? I pulled up an old thread which said that the first 3 are all good.

    Any opinions?

    From Tim Grey

For quite a long time my favorite monitor calibration package has been the GretagMacbeth EyeOne Display. Since it was originally introduced, GretagMacbeth was acquired by X-Rite, and so now the product is the X-Ritei1Display2 package. It lists for $249, so it isn't exactly inexpensive, but it is an excellent package for calibrating and profiling your monitor display, and the monitor calibration tool I recommend most.

I've got the Spyder, does the trick, simple to use and they seem to improve their software fairly regularly.
