    Just love the Alewife Run at Damariscotta Mills in Maine each May. Here is one from 2009 since I am not doing much photography due to the new home construction.

    Nice eye level view of some nice action. How much of a crop is this as the wings cut where they are makes this a bit awkward compwise for me. Good sharpness and exposure. Would like to see others take on crop.

    Great catch and eye level is right! the crop is a bit awkard to me too but I would take this image for mine in a heartbeat.

    this one doesn't work for me, the wings are clipped at a fatal point and the bird is really soft, just my honest critique hope you don't take it persoanlly.

    I could live with the crop, but the image is very soft on both of my monitors. Great "look-into-the-camera" capture, though!
