I missed all the fun last week. This was taken a couple of weeks ago. These two Red-shouldered hawks had mated and then obligingly posed for some photos I used fractalius blended with soft light then a little Nik Tonal Contrast.
Thanks for looking. Comments and suggestions appreciated.

What a wonderful capture of the hawks! The processing looks great too.

I think the color really adds a wonderful quality to an already wonderful image.

Cheryl, this is beautiful. Well posed couple! The fract work is wonderful. I love the effect it has had on both the hawks and the moss. Very nicely done!

Outstanding, Cheryl! Amazing beautiful color and detail. Really fun to see the variety of Fractalius uses.

Great look Cheryl, I do kind of wish the moss went to the top a bit more in just the corner area. The colors of the berries really make this special. Nicely done w/ the two hawks.

Ooh, pretty! Really nice image. The hawks are beautiful and the environment looks like a painting. Super capture and processing Cheryl.

Beautiful image, Cheryl! Everything about it is lovely...the composition, the frac effect, the moss, the berries in the BG. Very well done!

Beautiful composition, Cheryl. Love the look back pose. The effect reminds me of the Japanese painting. Nicely done.

The colors, detail, and texture on those hawks are just awesome Cheryl! Very nice composition and use of filters!
