    Default Sunrise Cayo Guillermo, Cuba

Preparing to leave for Cuba on Tuesday so I thought I would post a shot from Cuba taken a couple of years ago. This is on the island of Cayo Guillermo, which is in an Unesco World Biosphere. For this trip I made sure to buy a reverse grad for ocean sunrises. This time I am traveling to Cayo Santa Maria in the same biosphere reserve. Hope to return with lots of sunrise/sunset images, wading birds and rock iguana photos too.

    Nikon D200
    18-70mm
    ISO 100
    3-stop nd filter
    2-stop grad filter

    Look forward to comments.

It indeed a beautiful capture with the wonderful blurring clouds. The golden water at the horizon is very nice too. I think the huts under water are a little disconcerting, perhaps they appear out of place.

    Hi Andrew
I've been there ten years ago. Love the vibrant colors, but a larger view should make 'breath' the image.

Hi Andrew, I guess I'll be a bit contrarian. I like everything about the image except the clouds. The huts, their placement and softly blurred water work for me. I notice you didn't post your f-stop and shutter speed. Would be curious to know what they were...

Wonderful colors and I love the silky water. I would love to visit Cuba but unfortunately my government would fine and or throw me in jail when I got back
