Good sun angle and head angle. Nice sharp eye.

The whites at the base of the tail look a bit burned to me.

Agree with Jeff's comments re: whites in the tail looking hot. I love the head angle and the detail in the wings and head. Perhaps removing a little space on the left side and/or adding a bit of canvas on right would make composition a little stronger (something I still struggle with myself at times). Overall a very fine image.

I like the dorsal view Gary, with a good HA. Overall, you have captured good feather detail.

Very fine pose and comp. Agree on the whites, perhaps a linear burn would help there. Nice sharpness. Well done.

    Gary:

Excellent banking pose with very nice detail in the feathers, well exposed there. Yes, the whites are slightly hot, but it is really close. If it were mine, I would do a multiply or linear burn selection on the tail area only, head looks Ok to me. It is very easy to get the whites looking muddy with too much processing.

    Great head turn,eye contact.

    cheers

    Randy
