A cool duck. Looks like the focus was on the body, leaving the eyes not quite as sharp. I would like a lower angle if possible.
I really like the water in this one, its very "tangible". The duck's pose reminds of a Beethoven portrait, so serious looking.
Hi Kerry, nice exposure and the water looks great, the water droplet adds to the shot. Nice to be able to get that close.
I really like how the color in the water complements the duck's colors. Perhaps if the head were more upright that would have made for a nice eye-level image. Still, very well done. Present head angle and those burning eyes give this duck a little attitude, which I kind of like.
