Took this a few months ago and I am almost certain I've never posted it in here. (please forgive me if I am wrong...)

Saw the Fairy Martins collecting feathers when they were building their nests in early spring. Placed this feather not far from the nests and it didn't take long....

    Ofer,

Great catch at a great moment. The open bill, wing position and little feet all add to the image and the background is so smooth at ISO 1250.....incredible! Great idea to put the feather out there. Nice shot.

Nice image Ofer. Wing position and the slight open beak is a nice touch - did you pre focus by hand on the spot where the feather was or rely on the Auto focus?

Ofer, the comp works well, and well thought out for the feather set up. Well timed for the approaching Martin.

Nice moment captured Ofer. Nice comp and the feather puts it over the top. Very sharp with good exposure. Well done.

    WOW.

I am not that partial to vertical crops (not sure why) but this is so well balanced and beautifully composed that I have been drawn back to look at it a few times.

    cheers
