Theme Drake Canvasback

Taken in Dec of 09. Had a couple of fun afternoons with these guys.

40D, 500mm, ISo400, 1/1600 @ 6.3, Tripod and me in the water
Normal LR adjustments, PS background noise reduction, smart sharpen.

Nice image. Good detail and color. Believe it would benefit from slightly more space around the canvasback.

Super detail and a great red eye. Nice job with the exposure. Definitely could use a little more space around the bird. I'd be tempted to try some CW rotation as well.

Agree with the comments above especially the exposure. I am wondering if reducing the size of the catch light from the bottom a bit would help.

Opened the crop up a bit, slight CW rotation.

Looks better. I'd trim a little canvas off the bottom though.
