    Great detail and the head angle is great for showing the bill structure. What's the perch that it's on?
    The far right of the picture has several columns of pixels that are out of line. I've never seen that before. But obviously some PP error.

    Isn't that the new BPN anti theft security stripe? :)

    What an interesting bird. I like the setting against the background.

    What's the evolutionary advantage to a bird having a crossed bill?

    Nice head turn. The crossed bill stands out nicely. Not crazy about the perch, which I would try to tone down a little. I find that the BG competes a little too much with the bird; I would darken it a bit. I might selectively sharpen the rump area. And I'd crop a little off the top of the frame.

    Arsdel the nice head turn shows up the crossbill very well with good eye contact.
