    40D. 400 f5.6L at f/6.3. iso 320. 1/1000s. almost full frame.

    I should have stopped down further. I was shooting something further away and this one popped out of the water close by and went back in. That is one of the challenges with some of these diving ducks. They are much more active compared to the dabbling ducks.

    I like the nice light on the ducks head Kaustubh which brings out the detail in the dark feathers and also highlights the water droplets after the dive. Love the sheen of water coating the ducks breast and of course the low angle.

    I really love your super low angle shots.
    i also like the saturated blue water,
    BTW the bill looks pretty sharp, the eye not so much.
    also like the eye contact.
    i have to admit that im in love with your duck shots ;)
    keep them coming

    Kaustubh, that duck is definitely giving you the eye
    Great low angle and the water is beautiful - those diving ducks certainly are a challenge! :eek:

    Your duck series is just amazing . Nailed this one again !! Looks like your equipment is made of wood .
