    Shot this down in Cape Coral. Took a while for a subject to surface but finally got lucky over by the library next to someone's front lawn.

    This was shot from my car window on a bean bag with a Canon 30D, 300mm F4 and a 1.4TC @ 5.6, 1/400th, + 1/3. C & C welcome.

    HI Marina,

    You did well with the exposure and details. I think the owl need some room to look at. I wish I could see more room on the right side of the frame which is the direction the owl is looking at.

    Keep them coming!

    Very pretty, the light is gorgeous, agree with maxis' comments.

    Marina;

    I can see your ps skills are rapidly developing. Although this is from a higher viewing angle than the images we captured together, it does create a clean background. The eye is nice, but I think your earlier visit with the catchlight would stand out more. Agree with Maxis about looking out of the frame. Use you improving pp skills on one of your earlier shots and post that. I still think the effort of lying on the ground provides for a rmore ewarding picture.

    cheers

    Nice pose and BG. I like the soft light but wish for more head turn and a wider crop as mentioned earlier.
