    This is a crop from a leaf partly buried in the snow. I used Topaz Adjust and Topaz Detail on it.

    Very nice closeup, Judy! I like how you composed it with the vein on a diagonal and love the textures of the leaf and snow. The only thing that bothers me is how the focus falls off in the ULC. If it was all in focus, I think it would be awesome.

    Judy, I like the diagonal also and I agree with Christopher, maybe a tighter crop top and left. Nice details and color tones.

    Judy, I get the impression that it is cold there! Agree with above comments about the crop. Very interesting organic patterns and textures. I like the leaves and snow ideas you are presenting.

    Judy, this image has a lot to like! The diagonal of the veins and the added snow look really nice. I agree about the ULC being a problem but I just tried a tighter crop and it looks great! A little more sharpening and a slight contrast boost might also be worth considering.

    BTW, this shot would be equally at home in the Macro Forum.
