    Default Heron in Flight

    I shot this yesterday 10th Fab 2010 at a bird sanctuary under morning sunlight.
    Nikon D300 Nikkor 300mm f/4 D IF-ED AF-S + Nikkor TC-14E II AF-S Teleconverter
    1/1600s F/8 ISO 560

    nice,but the wing position is not ideal and the bird is soft. would be nice to get him with wings up or down.

    I never noticed that before about the spotted throat. Is this a variation of the heron's plumage?
