Something a bit more upbeat this time.

These are Shingu's 6, the Cheetah mum who has still (to this current time) been raising what now must be close to 6 six month old cubs!
Here they are at around 7 weeks of age frolicking on an old log on the grasslands of the Mara. You can just make out all six of them here. The last one is just scampering off LLH corner.

    D3s 500VR 1/1000s f/7@ ISO400 Oct 2010. FF.

    C & C most welcome

    Cheers
    Marc

Great sighting Marc, always difficult to get them posing tidilywhen they are in a playful mood, but it reflects reality.

    I can only see 5?

Another great image of these little ones Marc. The log/stump they have chosen for a playground makes a great prop for photos. Good and sharp with nice colors. Well done.

IQ here is outstanding and the pose of the cubs all around the tree stump really works nicely

I can't make out the 6th either, are you sure you didn't crop it out? You get a nice feel of their mane and shaggy coats. Do you know how many are males? Would be interested to know what size the male coalition may be when they leave mum.

    Well captured, Marc.

I have always found it one of my biggest challenges to get whole cat families performing for the camera.

Nice one Marc. I like how they all seem to be trying to get a better look above the surrounding sea of grass.
