I have been absent and playing with my new 27inch Multisync for the last few weeks, would highly recommend it Spectraview is great, and helped me discover that my last calibrator was faulty.........(Lots of re-editing to do)

Anyway, I spent 10 days photographing these youngsters in the Okavango a few years ago. They were around 8 days old in this picture.

They were hidden under a bush, though diffused light meant B&W seemed the perfect medium, as the OOF long grass seemed to disappear.

    Manually focused.

What a sight to see, let alone photograph, superb!
Love the B&W conversion Russell, creating a feeling of close intimacy? I'm thinking their eyes may not have even been open at this early stage of their lives.

Thanks, Marc. I find the B&W creates intimacy, the colour version is not as simplisitc and does not draw you in as much.

When I left, out three sets of cub eyes, only one was open.
