Seagull at Carlsbad beach. Not the best HA, but liked the low angle and got a chuckle out of this one. This guy seemed a bit grumpy as he marched up and down the beach.

Hand-held, lying down flat on beach. Leveled, crop, cloned out some debris on sand on L, CS5, touched up eye & BG, sharpening

Nice low angle with great subtle light. Bird is nicely seperated from BG with good detail in the grey and white feathers. Love the walking pose. What did you do to make him so grumpy.

I really dislike shooting on my belly but pictures like this show how it can be worth it.

Thanks you guys, always appreciate the feedback. Peter, I think he was mad at me for not bringing any bread!

Brendan, perfect shooting angle and you did a very good job with the beach cleanup. Loved that walking pose and IQ looks great.

I really like the low-angle and the overall details.
overcast days can be very productive!!
    keep them coming.
