    Default Gray Catbird

Gray Catbird - Matheson Hammock - Miami, Florida
    Canon 30D - 300mm f4 @ 250th sec f5.6 ISO 250 Flash -1/3 - handheld
    50% Crop - Cloudy Skies...

While waiting for migration to pickup, I found this Gray Catbird and took a few shots.

This is my first post on your forum.... I haven't been able to get out much the last couple of months.

Here is a very late CONGRATS to AL and Fabs !!!

Nice image, I like the comp and the pose.

I would like to see more of the leaves and less of the dead space at the top of the image.

Head on shots don't usually work, but I like this one. Very nice pastoral like colour is pleasing to the eye.

Nice details and soft light. The head angle is not ideal, it would have been better if the bird looked further to his left. The perch above the bird looks very bright, you could tone it down a bit.
